Kudos for Canines

Our rescue organization has had the pleasure of working with Lisa for over 2 years now. In that span of time, we have come to know her as an amazing, caring person who always goes above and beyond for her clients and their dogs. On several occasions, she has given her time and expertise free of charge to help us evaluate shelter pets, give behavior advice over the phone, and research and refer appropriate training partners and/or facilities in locations out of her area. We have had Lisa work with several of our dogs in foster and adoptive homes and her training methods are gentle, positive, science based and extremely effective. Lisa is an exceptionally versatile trainer who has knowledge and experience with anxiety, adopting and introducing a first and/or second pet, leash manners, building confidence, and determining appropriate exercises and outlets for bored and/or destructive pets, just to name a few. Not only does she work wonderfully with the dogs but she is a sensational person who you genuinely enjoy being around. She is our first and only choice for training in the Bloomington-Normal and surrounding Central IL area! We are incredibly fortunate to have Lisa as a resource for our Central IL dogs, volunteers, fosters, and adopters! - The Dont Bully My Breed Team

Kudos for Kudos!!! What a pleasure it is to rave about Lisa and Kudos for Canines. I have known Lisa for several years - studying, training and volunteering with her working with our own pets, shelter dogs and cats, and traveling to seminars. She is simply excellent working with dogs, and just as good working with the people who love them Besides her wonderful knowledge and skills as a trainer, one of the things I admire most about Lisa is her complete dedication to all positive, gentle, force free training methods. She is a savvy advocate for using techniques that are friendly and low stress - and (after your family) likely to be one of the best friends your dog will ever have!
