KW Happy Dogs

I highly recommend Kirsten. She is very knowledgeable and experienced in dog behavior and training. She uses positive methods, is very good at reading dog language, is intuitive, and is good at creative solutions. She considers, understands and cares very much about the dog's emotions and well being, as well as the relationship between the dog and their family (humans and animals). She is open minded, down to earth, easy to communicate with, and has a strong desire to learn and expand her understanding of dogs. I am a long time dog professional and have worked with dogs and studied dog behavior and training for over 25 years. I am happy to have recently discovered Kirsten, and from working with her to have gained valuable insights, understanding, and a better relationship with my dogs.

Kirsten was kind to take myself and my 8-week old English Pointer puppy, Kaden, on as clients recently. We worked together over several sessions spanning a few months. We would be lost in the woods without her! She has been instrumental in our training and growth - providing tips and guidance from grooming to emergency care to off leash hiking and covering the whole spectrum of training exercises, mental exercises, and socialization tips. Kaden lights up every time he sees Kirsten and she has been very patient and adaptable to Kaden and his needs. We will be recommending Kirsten over and over again! 🐾

KW has been a massive help with our street rescue pup. We had pretty serious issues of pulling and general leash reactivity and have made great progress thanks to Kirsten's help. Kirsten's approach is thoughtful and customized to each dog's personality and past experience, definitely not a cookie-cutter one size fits all style of training. She will teach you how to understand and communicate with your fur friend in a way that is mutually rewarding 🐾
