Shelby and her team are amazing! Unlike many of the other board and train options out there, Shelby invites your pup into her home for the duration of his/her stay. She works with your pup 1:1 to focus on the specific issues you have identified. My excitable Goldendoodle, Archie, came back very much improved and Shelby is still continuing to help me fine tune some of the things that need a bit more work at home. Highly recommend!

Shelby is phenomenal!! She was so patient with Charlie and truly taught him discipline. Charlie used to be a very reactive, and hyper dog who very seldom listened. Now, he is such a good baby boy! He loves “Place” and listens the first time we give him any command. We can finally take him out places and not be worried that he will drag us or try to run toward another dog. We had such a pleasant experience that my mom will be getting her dog El Chapo trained next week, I cannot say enough good things about Shelby she is incredible :)

Shelby is a great trainer! She’s patient, loving yet stern, and above all else, level-headed. Everything you want in a dog trainer. Our dog did a 10 day Board and Train. He came out able to now walk on a leash without barking at everything and everyone, able to ride in a car, and he’s now much more responsive to our commands. She gives you the tools you need to continue to have success and takes the time to explain everything in detail. She also follows up to ensure things are still going smoothly at home. I would not hesitate to recommend Shelby or Kyser K-9s!
