L A School For Dogs - Best Dog School in California

LASFD is the absolute best training program!!! After weeks of researching and meeting with every school in the Westlake Village area, I met our trainer Amber- and immediately felt at ease. I knew I could trust my puppy with her. The entire staff is professional and amazing, but I cannot speak highly enough of Amber. After just 3 weeks, my puppy has transformed. Mocha learned how to practice calm energy, go on walks, properly greet fellow dogs and people, and most importantly I have learned how to be a better dog owner! The LASFD 3 week program places an emphasis on not only training the dog, but also training the family members at home! Amber went above and beyond during our weekly private lessons to answer all of our questions thoroughly and patiently, often taking extra time out of her personal schedule to make sure we had all of the tools to succeed. I also loved being able to keep Mocha at home in the evenings and on weekends, so we could actively practice and implement new routines and techniques every day. This helped make a smooth transition of skills from school to home. Sending Mocha to LASFD was the best decision we made!! I am grateful for Amber- she treats you and your dog like family, with a genuine desire to see everyone succeed. We can't wait to go back and visit!!

Jennifer helped us create a happy home with our two dogs. We have a puppy who had bad habits (the humans are to blame) and the older dog who picked up the habits too! We were frustrated and not enjoying our dog walks like we used to. Jennifer came recommended to us by several neighbors. We opted for the private weekly trainings for six weeks and our dogs are SO MUCH BETTER. We are able to command them and even do some fun tricks. So impressed by Jennifer’s way of teaching humans and training dogs. She is a natural and so great with the dogs. They love her!
