Lake Erie K9

When Whiskey and I first started the classes we were both unsure of what to expect. At the first class he hid under the chair the whole class. He’s a 50 pound dog and I was worried about being able to handle him on a leash. Throughout the training we bonded and became much more confident. Whiskey now knows his commands and I feel secure in handling him! Gary is very encouraging and helpful. I would highly recommend him to anyone! Lake Erie K9 is awesome!

I recently participated in K-9 Bootcamp with my 2-year-old Weimaraner, and Mike was the instructor. My dog has significant anxiety issues, and we went from all 70 pounds of him crawling up on my lap during Week 1 to him perfectly executing every training skill by the final class on Week 6. Mike made the class fun and relaxed, allowing everyone to participate to the degree to which they were comfortable. I highly recommend taking your dog(s) to Lake Erie K-9 for training. Your dog will benefit from the guidance you will be able to provide, and you will benefit from the extra freedoms a well-trained dog will afford you and the members of your household.

I definitely recommend Lake Erie K9! I have grown up with and personally owned dogs my entire life and I still feel that I have learned invaluable information and lessons. So far I can attest to a 1:1 session as well as a group class setting. I was skeptical about being in a group class until we arrived. Mike takes the time to watch and take mental notes on each dog during every class. He offers specific suggestions to each handler during the group classes while also conducting the class and teaching us about the psychology of our beloved pets. Not only that but he has ways to show you what he is taking about that makes you kind of have aha moments. I will absolutely come back to take the next tier of classes with my dogs. Life changing.
