FirstBarkMike is amazing. He is calm, very patient, and personable. He came to work with myself and my mom on my dog's overly protective streak. She is a happier dog with guidance and set rules. 10/10 score for Mike and Lake Erie K9!

Veteran and Law Enforcement owned and operated, Lake Erie K9 offers dog training including basic/advanced obedience, behavior modification, and AKC canine good citizens training/testing. Obedience training and behavior modification services are offered in the privacy of your home or at our facility. A therapy dog course is also now offered. Lake Erie K9 “Bootcamp” offers basic obedience puppy/dog training in a group environment. Don’t miss our Tactical Maneuvers ( beginner agility) class this year or our Spec.Ops. advanced group obedience course in which we set up our training like any civilian police or military working dog would go through.

We took our 3 year old German Shepard that we had rescued from the Erie Humane Society here for a behavior modification session. She was fairly dog reactive and with the one session we were able to figure out what tools worked best for her. Our session was in April and yesterday we took her for a walk and ate outside at a restaurant, she must have seen 20-30 dogs and did amazing!! Could not recommend them enough I’m so glad we had our session with them!
Highly recommend them for dog training. I’ve tried other trainers in the past and they don’t come close to how knowledgeable Lake Erie K9 is. In just a few weeks I learned so much and my puppy graduated boot camp with flying colors.
Gary was an amazing trainer, funny and very intelligent. We had an amazing experience in the doggy bootcamp. We will definitely be back for more classes. Thank you for such a great experience Gary and Lake Erie K9!
