Veteran and Law Enforcement owned and operated, Lake Erie K9 offers dog training including basic/advanced obedience, behavior modification, and AKC canine good citizens training/testing. Obedience training and behavior modification services are offered in the privacy of your home or at our facility. A therapy dog course is also now offered. Lake Erie K9 “Bootcamp” offers basic obedience puppy/dog training in a group environment. Don’t miss our Tactical Maneuvers ( beginner agility) class this year or our Spec.Ops. advanced group obedience course in which we set up our training like any civilian police or military working dog would go through.

Gary and Mike are great instructors. I took my 6 month old beagle mix to the Puppy Bootcamp class and it was such a good experience for both us. The guided instructions really helped me learn to communicate and train Lainey. Thank you!

I’ve used Lake Erie k9 twice, one for behavior modification and one for basic obedience. Behavior modification was well worth the money, and as long as we put in the work he solved a lot of our issues in just one visit. Basic obedience really tired my doggo out, he’s gotten so much better and I now get compliments about how he’s behaving. Reasonably priced, friendly staff, AMAZING Results. Also like the fact that they don’t shame other trainers, owners, or dogs for not being perfect. And having the if it works don’t change it mentality and offering things for everyone. Edit 25 October 2025 I brought my other dog through basic obedience and still had a WONDERFUL time. It truly is a pleasure getting to work with Mike and seeing the difference within them throughout the 6 weeks!
