About Landmark Retrievers LLC
Roger Conant, the owner of Landmark Retrievers retired in March of 2020. Megan Moore worked at Landmark from Oct. 2014- March 2020 and then ran Retreats Ranch which took over Landmark from March 2020- September 2022. Reserved a spot for the weekend, arrived and was unable to locate anyone to drop my dogs with. Decided to go elsewhere after about half an hour of wandering around the place. Looked like jail inside the kennels.
Don’t do it. Left our 6-month golden retriever here in early July 2021 for a 10-day short term boarding & training solution. Picked him up dehydrated, malnourished, weak and throwing up. And zero training retention. Then they had the audacity to cash my payment check almost 90 days after pickup. Bad business practice all around.
Brought our Lab puppy to be trained, we were hoping to get him obedience trained. The staff was awesome! We visited while our Lab was in training and got to work with the staff on his training. Brought our Lab puppy to be trained, we were hoping to get him obedience trained. The staff was awesome! We visited while our Lab was in training and got to work with the staff on his training. He graduated not only obedience, but he walks without leash everywhere, fully listens to commands, he loves to go hunting and retrieves birds plus he does my taxes! Wonderful experience, fantastic staff and a fully trained dog.
