Lasata Dog Training

Cori was our Rottweiler, Ella’s trainer when Ella was a puppy. My wife and I want to make sure that Ella is well-mannered, especially given the breed’s reputation; our ultimate goal is that Ella gets certified as a therapy dog. What impressed us immediately from our first meeting was Cori’s in-depth knowledge of the breeds, especially their temperament. With our input, she designed a training program that not only developed overall good behaviors, but she also targeted behaviors that are important to us. Cori is WELL-VERSED in the positive-reinforcement model. That expertise, coupled with her knowledge in dogs’ development and behaviors had made her innovative training methods effective in achieving the desired results. Ella is well on her way... Another factor that made us highly recommend Cori is Ella’s love for “Miss Cori”. Ella is always excited to see her and that tells us more about Cori than anything else.

Cori at Lasata dog training has been vital in our efforts to help build our dog’s confidence. We rescued a 2 year old dog that did not have it easy in his past. We were able to work on his confidence together and she helped teach us ways to work with him that have made him an entirely different dog. At the beginning he was shy, timid, reactive with other dogs, and today he is much more approachable. We are so thankful to her and her caring techniques. We would highly recommend anyone struggling! Cori is so knowledgeable about dog behaviors and really helped teach us what to look for. As a responsible dog owner, if you apply the techniques and lessons she gives you, they will 100% work. Cori is also very accommodating and understanding of time and very willing to work with you. We can’t thank her enough!
