This is the place to go if you want to really work WITH your dogs. Many of my Cockers have been through puppy classes at LDF. We have Canine Good Citizen ( CGC ) kids who love to go out there to learn something new. The idea of a trick dog title hit us . .. so yep we headed out to LDF and trick titled our cute boy Luke who had his CGC from LDF also took that CGC up to a CGCA with a few more achievements. Instructors who lead groups out there are super wonderful and will work with you without making you feel like you do not belong :-) Love it out there! Highly Recommend!!! (I drive out there from E El Paso ... has to say something :-)...... oh yea... as a retired vet tech I totally recommend their puppy classes... helps create a great family member and teaches you, the owner... how to be a better, well equipped- mom/dad... :-)

LDF and their awesome trainers are the few people I trust my dogs and their training with. I've been with them for almost a year now. I work specifically with Cari and my dog Chief, and have since enrolled my other dog, Kepler, in classes. Chief has quite a history. When I first cried uncle and brought Chief in, he was such a scared pup. We don't know his whole history, or why he has scars on his feet. What we do know is that he's very anxious in new situations and especially around people. Sweet boy had begun nipping at small dogs and could not remain in the same room as visitors. After just a few months with Cari, Chief is now exploring the world around him with confidence. He may never be able to inquisitively meet visitors, but he can now remain in the same room as visitors without any trouble, can be totally alone for more than an hour, and he's really just blossomed out of his shell. Cari's patience with Chief and familiarity with k-9 psychology has been pivotal, where some other recommendations and other training had made his condition a little worse. I'm so so thankful for her kindness and thoughtfulness with Chief. I enrolled Kepler, my Austrailian Cattle dog, in beginner's competition obedience, which was led by their trainer, Laura. Laura not only makes competitive learning fun, but also recognizes that her two-legged students learn differently, and is very adaptable in her teaching and is very patient with dog-parents and their journeys. Not only are all of the trainers very knowledgeable in their trade, they have the medals to back it up with their own dogs. Always awesome. Always friendly. Absolutely affordable. Thank you, LDF.
