Excellent trainer! I learned effective training techniques to work with my dog around socializing challenges. What I also benefitted from was seeing Rebecca work with my dog - I was able to view my pup from a different vantage point and that was also helpful. Professional, friendly and clear communication.

My wife and I really appreciated Rebecca's approach to training, which was focused equally on the behavior of our 5 month old puppy and the two of us. Her training drills are firmly rooted in the Tenderfoot method that emphasizes pressure and release, which was intuitive to us as former horse owners. More importantly, however, Rebecca is a kind and patient teacher who is willing to keep repeating the lesson until both pets and their guardians "get it". It was also very helpful to have homework assignments to work on between our in-person sessions, as well as discussions about how to graduate to more challenging scenarios over time. I would highly recommend Lazy Acres Dog Training if your goal is to have a healthy, fulfilling relationship with your well-behaved dog.
