Lazy Acres Dog Training

Our rescue pup is high intelligence and high energy (Jack Russell + Pointer + Australian Cattle Dog). We were walking her 7 miles a day and she was still bouncing off the walls and inconsolable when she smelled food. Rebecca replied to our email within hours, and we had an appointment within a week. After a single two-hour session, we have noticed dramatic changes. Rebecca showed us a few simple drills to practice with our dog. Honestly, we were nervous -- they seemed geared toward walking and on-leash behavior, and we had so many other, more immediate behaviors to address. We needn't have worried. The drills are about so much more than walking: they establish a strong leader/follower relationship with your dog and help him/her (and you) define and respect boundaries. Rebecca's clear instruction and compassionate handling of our dog made it a positive experience for all of us. I can't recommend her enough!

Rebbeca is an amazing dog trainer. Not many trainers know how to train Basenji breed. On our first session Rebecca asked how much h we knew about the breed and then provided additional information, that is what I called getting her and my family calibrated to start a successful training session. We have enjoyed the benefits of learning how to set boundaries, proper collar training and crate training. I particularly have appreciated the opportunity to see Rebecca show me how to be firm with our dog in a natural animal way. How to read the dog and short way to communicate with him. He is now 7 months and my family and I are excited to continue sessions with Lazy Acres to learn more dog world manners. Thanks Rebecca for sharing all the videos and making the life with our little Rocket easier as we learn together yo ensure he is happy with his family.
