Lead Dog Coaching and Training

We have had a very positive experience working with Andrea at Lead Dog and highly recommend her! We first met with her a few weeks after adoption and it helped us create a great base for training. Andrea has since been very responsive and helpful with any subsequent issues. We have seen so much improvement in our dog and it has been very encouraging! We are excited to continue to work with Lead Dog Training. Andrea is an amazing resource!

I recently met with Andrea for some ideas to keep my very smart, driven Corgi-mix mentally stimulated and address his leash reactivity. Andrea was very thorough in learning about our history together and our current challenges. She gave me many helpful training tools and a great follow up plan for giving my dog interesting ways to use his mind. It is clear she really loves dogs and genuinely cares about helping them and their families have their best life ! I highly recommend if you are looking for some help with your dog.

I reached out to Andrea with a rush ask for help integrating a new rescue with my existing dogs-- they were not faring well-- and within 24 hours I was talking with Andrea and getting expert advice. She gave me several tips on how to change the environment and my behavior to help both new and old dogs feel safe and it worked nearly instantly! Plus I had been uncomfortable with the "just let the dogs work it out" advice you hear from everyone, and she showed me a much safer way to get them sorted. I can't thank her enough for helping me smooth out the family integration, and look forward to receiving more coaching from her.

Andrea Logan knows her stuff! When we first contacted her, she asked what we specifically wanted to work on. Once at our home, we prioritized them. She observed our dog, then modeled what we were to do to correct the behavior and gave us a chance to practice. She gave us more than one way to address the behavior and always explained why we were doing it from the dog's point of view. While at our house (about 1 1/2 hours), we worked mainly on 3-4 behaviors. But Andrea followed up with an email with detailed instructions on what we had practiced, plus fun games, mental exercises, websites, etc. Andrea continues to follow up to see how our dog is doing, give us suggestions and encourage us. You can tell that her goal is to make you and your dog happy! The bond between you and your dog is uppermost in her mind. She wants the best for you both.
