do you have any recomendations for trainers who can help w bigger dogs from the shelter? trying to get them leash trained and basic manners so they can get adopted. some of them have been there too long! Please if you know of any
Hello, thank you for the message. We train all sizes. At this time we don’t have the personnel to train pro bono to help dogs get adopted. With that said we donate and support the Delaware Humane Society on a monthly basis. It is a goal of our company to help train dogs in the shelters to help get adopted but we are just not there yet. Recently a german shepard was added to our home. She is 4 years old and great with people. She has attacked one of our other dogs unprovoked 3 times. Will Training get her to stop? The other dog is much smaller and I don't want her hurt.

Love this place! Staff are super friendly and take extra care of the dogs! Our dog loves it and always excited to come back! Highly reccomend for training, boarding, and daycare!
We had to board our two Doodles at lead the way and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Every time Josh sent us a picture of them playing, their ears were flying back and having a great time! Definitely recommend bringing your dogs here for boarding or daycare. We will be back soon with our dogs! They also did a great job on grooming one of the dogs.
Our dogs have been going here for daycare, boarding, and grooming. We also did the board and train as well. We can’t say enough good things about Josh and Brittany and all the staff at Lead the Way! Our dogs love going here. We just started grooming with Amber and our dogs look so cute! We couldn’t ask for a better group of people to take care of our fur babies!
The best in the business! We always say our dog is going on his own vacation whenever we board him here because he loves it so much! Highly recommended! Great people who truly love your pup like their own. We also had our dog trained here when he was a puppy and they did an awesome job! They always send pictures and during holidays have a fun background for a photo shoot!
