FirstBarkAJ is awesome! He takes the time to explain everything in detail on how and why each step is being done the way it is. My puppy seemed to bond very well with him on the very first day. Our 7 month old Cockapoo, Teak, is already responding to AJ's direction, through me, by rewarding her with praise, play and/or her food. In just two lessons, Teak and I learned "sit", "down" & "drop-it" and she loves her lessons. I can't wait to see what discipline she will have at the end of our sessions❤️🐶

We've been working with AJ for about 2 months. I was unfamiliar with balanced training techniques but was willing to give it a try since R+ wasn't getting us very far. In the short time we've been training, I've seen a huge change in my dog. We used to both be very nervous on walks and it felt like walking on egg shells every time we went out. Now we feel more confident and even when we face triggers, he is able to recover quicker and not shut down like he used to. AJ has taught me to reward my dog in the form of treats, pets, toys, which something I never noticed I didn't do often. He also answers all my questions and offers suggestions when I feel something isn't quite working. My dog used to be on a few anxiety medications and he's been able to reach a point where he can regulate his emotions better without needing medication anymore. I actually look forward to going out with my dog and trying new things together and has definitely helped strengthen our bond. We're excited for where the upcoming lessons will lead us :)
