How can I get my dog to stop being destructive?
Many destructive and behavioral issues, can be remedied simply by providing direction and guidance to your dog. Just taking your dog for a walk evey day can help immensely. You want your dog to be physically and mentally tired. If you're having trouble walking your dog or teaching commands, we can be of great help to you. We offered balanced dog training and have been teaching owners effective ways to successfully train their dogs since 2007.

Should I send my dog away to a trainer or learn to train myself?
The best trainer for your dog is you. Honestly, it's never just a dog issue, when you are experiencing obedience, behavior and manners issues. Your dog needs to view you as it's leader, or a better word would be mentor. Building a trusting bond involves having the right tools and techniques to help your dog become a really successful dog. When you send your dog away, you're giving away that bonding opportunity and the dog doesn't learn to obey you. The best way to earn your dogs trust and respect is training your own dog, using kind, patient, and effective techniques. We never use pinch, choke or shock collars.

How much does this usually cost to bring in a puppy who is agressive with his siblings?
First, we do not take in dogs for training - we teach you, the owner, very effective techniques to help you solve the issue. Our techniques have remained successful with behavior issues since 2007! We can set him up for success if we start before the issue becomes serious. If the puppy is already at your home, call as soon as possible to set up training.

Horrible.For the price I received nothing. Took my dogs to place in Orange County(Wags And Wiggles) and for $25 learned more then the 395 she overcharged. I would not recommend this business overpriced and under educated

Wendy is my aunt and I live in Minnesota. I recently adopted my puppy Flo and the help from Wendy has been priceless. I told her I would fly her to Minnesota just to train my puppy. I had no idea how much she could help me over the phone. I could never imagine how much she could do if she was actually in my home. My puppy is only 5 months and because of Wendy I had Flo trained to do the basics in two weeks. She knows "kennel, sit, stay, down, drop, fetch, & come". She has had two accidents in 3 weeks since Wendy explained how to train her not to go poop or pee in the house. The 2 accidents she had I take the blame because I took too long to let her out and she is too young to have full bladder control. I have called Wendy non-stop, luckily I can get away with that since I am her niece all the way in Minnesota but there was one phone call that I was in tears. Flo ate almost a pound of kitty litter and was chocking. She knew exactly what to do and Flo was just fine. She also taught me how to prevent it from happening again and I have not had a problem since. She saved me an emergency room bill and she even told me to call a help line to make sure the information she gave me was correct since she is not a veterinarian. If Wendy can train Arabian show horses how to do tricks, I am sure she can help you teach your dog to do what you need them to do. Wendy has always loved animals and it shows in her work. We all need to learn and the more we invest in learning, the better our lives are. The same goes for learning how to train our animals. I am so proud that I was able to finally experience her skills and thankful that I have her knowledge in my family. I can honestly say that I recommend her without being biased due to my personal experience with Flo. I would be lost without Wendy’s help and my boyfriend would have made me take Flo back to the Humane Society if I could not control her. It took 3 years of begging him to have a dog and I could not mess up the opportunity once he finally gave in.
Wendy truly speaks the language of dogs. Her training visits have shown us how well behaved our puppies can be, as they are angels while she is here. Her "Pack Leader" training really works, as she teaches the pet owners her leadership techniques. I have always heard that dog training involves both training the dog and the owner. Wendy does take care of teaching both with excellent results.
