Learning to Dog Training and Enrichment

Wonderful trainer and has made the process of socializing and working with my golden puppy a greatly enjoyable one. My pup loves socialization club and the learning to puppy 101/201 considerably helps with building a training routine. Puppy school has been another great offering that is clearly very enjoyable for him and has resulted in a calmer and less excitable pup. Beyond all that, Marsha’s attention to his individual concerns with resource guarding has all but eliminated the behavior with consistent practice and support in classes, and is so greatly appreciated in addressing the concern as a first time dog parent. Highly recommend Marsha and learning to dog!

I don’t think we could’ve raised our pup without Marsha! We got our first puppy last summer, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and are so grateful for Marsha and her classes. We’ve done Puppy Socialization, Puppy 201, Teen Spirit, and Polite Greetings. Dog training takes so much time, consistency, and dedication, and there’s far too much information online, it gets overwhelming. Marsha provided the structure we needed to keep consistent training, and the cadence and way her classes built on each other have us in such a good spot with our pup now! She breaks things down into manageable bits and knows dog behavior so well. She helps you know you’re not crazy, and you’re not alone! Her socialization class especially set such a good foundation for him. Ridgebacks can be wary of strangers, but our pup Padfoot loves people like he’s a Golden! I'm not sure how we would have survived the last year and a half with two puppies without Marsha at Learning to Dog. We have been puppy school and training class regulars during this time, and I have learned so much about how to be a better dog mom through positive reinforcement. I will always have terriers, but Marsha has made them much less "terrors" than we could've ever hoped to. Her love of dogs and her knowledge of dog behavior runs deep - she's given me so many "a-ha" moments working through our issues.
