Lee's Dog Training

My husband and I were desperate by the time we found Lee, and now we couldn’t be happier that he graciously took our male dog and worked with him. Just before my older brother found Lee, we had another trainer tell us that the only “real” option we had for our situation was to have our almost one year old (at the time) puppy put down, due to aggressive tendency towards me. We are now almost to the 2 year mark from when our little buddy went to stay with Lee for some extensive training and we continue to see improvements from him and have grown to deeply love him even more than before. Since his time with Lee, I am now able to play with him, do minor grooming, and feed him without being scared. I will say that we would probably have the best pup around if we were more strict with the training Lee gave us as owners (Lee, is there any chance you do refresher courses/mini courses with owners and dogs...<elbow nudge> :)?) With that say, we would still stand behind Lee’s training 100% and most definitely recommend him to any dog owner that is seeking help. Remington has Lee to thank for the fact that he is still apart of our family!

I was very skeptical of Lee’s Dog Training and the ALL 5 star reviews. It was too good to be true. I grew up training and showing dogs in conformation, obedience, tracking, hunting, Canine Good Citizen, and being involved in therapy dog. My first degree/career was as a registered veterinary technician from Purdue. All of this experience has allowed me to train my dogs and friends dogs over the years. I thought I had this dog training thing down! Until we adopted a Potcake dog from an island. He was cute, sweet, and had been highly socialized at the rescue on island (that is how we met him!). Fast forward to bringing him to our home... As he became comfortable, he started to be VERY dominant over our other dogs and even worse became aggressive towards my older children when they visited. Knowing dog behavior, I felt it was only a matter of time before he hurt someone. He was WONDERFUL with my husband and I, very loving, but I cannot own or give away an aggressive dog - that is a liability and endangerment to others that no one should have to deal with. My husband found Lee’s website and we decided it was worth the investment to give this boy a shot at a good life and us a shot at sanity. Lee took him on and we are thrilled beyond belief. He gave our Potcake the training and skills to be a part of the family seamlessly. That said, it still requires work, training, and “upkeep” on our part, but we have a great family member now. The key is placing your trust in Lee and actually following his training methods because they WORK! This is one of the rare cases in life where it was too good to be true, but actually was true. When you consider the lifespan of your dog and value peace, sanity, and good behavior no matter the setting, Lee’s training is very worth the time, effort, and money. Thank you Lee, you saved our boy!

This company mistreated my dogs. When we went to go and pick them up, they both had a busted nose and severe allergies. After taking one of them to the vet, one had a fever and both were put on antibiotics. They both had lost 10 pounds. The owner let one of my dogs out to urinate and committed on how long it took. The first thing my other dog did once we got them home was had a hugh bowel movement in the middle of the floor. My money was refunded but I was deeply hurt by how they were treated. They were not benefited by their 10 day stay at all.

I'm not going to tell you about how great Lee is, all the other reviews have explained that. I want to tell anyone that loves their dog and wants to have a wonderful relationship with their dog, call Lee. This is about the relationship my wife and I have with our dog Loki now after Lees training. My wife and I have a blast taking Loki places and don't have to worry about him doing something wrong. We have taken him to Pet Smart many times, Menards and Walmart shopping. We took our grandson trick or treating around the town of Pendleton Halloween night and we took Loki with us. I figured the kids with costumes running around would make him nervous but it didn't. When in public he is the perfect dog. When we are at home Loki has respect and self control and can still be a puppy. Loki still loves to play and chew on things. But now he chews on his toys instead of the furniture or us. Loki is a 7 month old lab that just past the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. Thank you Lees dog training.
