My dog and I love Rebecca! Mila has a bit of anxiety and has had some negative run ins with other dogs. Rebecca is so knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do to help her overcome her anxiety with other dogs. I have tried online training for anxiety for years and have not had nearly as much success as we have had working with Rebecca. In 2 private lessons I have seen enormous improvement in Mila! She clearly cares about the animals she is working with and I love that Mila gets excited to go to her lessons!

I adopted Cleo, this sweet 5 year old lady in December and she had never been on a leash or had any training that showed. While extremely friendly with people, she had pretty high anxiety around other dogs. We took the Beginner's class and Cleo would growl and bark at all the other dogs when we started. It was hard for her to even pay attention to me, she was so distracted by the other dogs. In addition to classes, we would also join the pack walk around Reid Park on Fridays for the extra exposure and training in real life situations. Cleo has really evolved since we started working with Rebecca. We graduated Beginner's and Intermediate training and are now in Advanced class. Cleo walks well on the leash, has learned to stay and wait and leave treats on command. She now looks to me for instructions instead of acting out of fear. And while she is still working out her dog trauma, she no longer barks and growls at the other dogs and has even been able to interact some with the lower energy dogs in class. I highly recommend Start Pawsitive dog training! Rebecca is calm, confident and very knowledgeable. Cleo has really come a long way!
I have nothing but great things to say about Start Pawsitive dog training! We started taking our dog Otis when he was about six months old, and we have seen a tremendous difference! Rebecca has been very patient with Otis and very helpful teaching us how to train through positive reinforcement. Otis is a big fan of Rebecca, and so are we!
