Legacy Farms K9 Training

My experience with Rob and everyone at Legacy Farms has been exceptional. I first came to them looking for a board and train program for my dog, Grover, and from the beginning, it felt incredibly personalized. Rob took the time to really understand my goals for Grover and created a training plan tailored to him while also being flexible with my travel schedule. We wanted to work on leash walking, impulse control, demand barking, and a few other behaviors. Rob even went out of his way to drive Grover to a walking route that had been particularly challenging for us multiple times during his stay so they could work on it together. I was also kept in the loop the entire time. I received multiple pictures a day, detailed updates on his progress, and videos to reference once he came home so I could continue reinforcing everything he learned. One of my favorite things about Legacy Farms is how much it feels like Grover is part of the family when he’s there. He’s surrounded by Rob’s family and other dogs, gets plenty of love and attention, and genuinely ADORES going to Rob’s. Grover now goes to daycare at Legacy Farms as well, and the experience is so different from the more commercial daycare options we’ve tried in the past. He gets tons of outdoor time, his training is reinforced throughout the day, and I know he’s both safe and loved while he’s there. Rob and Qui run a tight ship in the absolute best way. I’ve continued to see improvements in Grover’s behavior since we started working with Legacy Farms. Our leash walks aren’t unbearable anymore, he’s becoming more patient, and he’s learning to better control his barking and impulses. But maybe the best endorsement is Grover himself — he is SO happy every single time I drop him off. I can’t recommend Legacy Farms enough for anyone looking for a more personalized, family-style approach to dog training and daycare. I trust them completely with Grover, and finding them has made such a difference for both of us.

Rob is a lifesaver for reactive dogs. Our precious baby lulu, a 4 year old rescue pit, was so reactive to the doorbell, strangers, and outside of walks. We tried three different training places without change. We did the advanced 4 week board and train program and crossed our finger and Rob exceeded our expectations. She is way less reactive at the door and is so much more pleasant on walks. She also used to get very very sick at other boarding facilities and she was perfectly healthy when we picked her up. We got daily pictures and weekly reports on her progress and we knew she was in good hands. We can't thank Rob and the team enough. We have a whole new pup!
