FirstBarkRob, Karissa, and their family have been nothing but fantastic to my newly adopted German Shepherd, Sherman. I appreciate their great communication, feedback, and overall care for my new pup. Sherman loves going to Legacy Farms each week because he is so well taken care of and has so much fun. Robert has a deep understanding of dog behavior and knew exactly how to channel our dog’s energy in a positive way. His patience, expertise, and customized approach made all the difference. The family was very inviting, detailed, and provided some training during stay. From my fur babies first stay looked very happy, as they sent several pictures, and videos. Very detailed, and provided some dog owner training and correction, really helped me better understand the needs of my fur baby. Loved that it was a home environment around children gives my fur baby the opportunity to interact and learn. We are looking forward to future stays if they have availability. Highly recommend Legacy Farms! We signed our 7 month old Bernese Mountain Dog up for a Board and Train while on vacation, and were so pleased with the experience from beginning to end. Rob is a calm and confident teacher for both the dog and the owner, took time to listen to all of our concerns, and put together an effective training plan. The whole Roulhac family was kind and welcoming, putting to rest any hesitation we might have about leaving our dog for a long stretch! We were confident for the entirety of her stay that she was loved on, comfortable, and in a great learning environment.
They are very friendly, professional and personal people. You can tell right away that they actually care and love what they do. We got daily videos, pics, and written reports on our dogs progress and then lots of tricks and advice for continuing training at home. Our baby boy loved his time there. He's a 1.5 yr old Aussie named Comet.
