Took my dog for obedience training at Legacy Retrievers at 6 months. Dennis and his trainers worked with her until she reached all her milestones for both on and off leash training. I could tell at pick-up/my training that trainer Mallori had formed a close bond with my dog and took great pride in her work. In total, my dog took 11 weeks to complete her obedience training and I appreciated that they worked with her until she reached her milestones not just for a set number of weeks. My dog has a ton of energy and takes a bit to get focused so they had their work cut out for them. Every time I contacted Dennis he responded timely with an update on what they were doing (I checked in about once a week) and he worked with my schedule to pick her up and go through my training. While I was there, I saw several other dogs actively in their training sessions. As a result of her obedience training, my dog is night and day different now. She obeys me off leash and walks beside me, even with other dogs and kids as distractions. The leash isn't really needed now, except for others to feel comfortable around dogs. I would recommend Legacy Retrievers to a friend.
