Legally Unleashed K9 Services

My husband and I adopted a pitbull/cane corso mix, Jethro, from a shelter about 6 months ago. Although Jethro is incredibly sweet and loving, he is also VERY strong and strong willed. We were having trouble walking him and not being dragged all over the neighborhood. We also wanted Jethro to have really good manners since we have encountered many people already with strong negative views of pitbulls. We met a woman on a walk in our neighborhood with an amazingly well trained puppy that laid down when we walked by, even with Jethro being a fool. She recommended legally unleashed and explained that her puppy had just completed training. We enrolled Jethro in a 2 week training program with Leah the following week. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this program and Leah. Leah is terrific with the dogs and produces well trained and confident dogs. She was very flexible with dates and times for training, especially since we had an emergency surgery and a COVID scare during the training dates. Leah also was great with helping my husband and I learn how to continue the training at home. Bottom line, this was hands down the best move we could have made after adopting Jethro. He’s so much more enjoyable now that his manners are better and he knows commands. It means the world to us to be able to walk him and take him places with confidence. This is a great investment! Thank you Leah; you changed our lives.

I first met Leah at the soccer field leaving my son's game, she was standing there waiting on a client with her golden and I stopped and asked her questions about Daisy and told her that I have a 6 month old who has lots of energy and she told me about being a certified trainer and right away I could tell that she would be the one I would take our Charli too so I contacted her. Amazing results, 👏 she has changed our whole home life with the training that Charli received. This has truly been a blessing in our lives to be able to communicate with Charli on a totally different level. To be able to walk her and my arm not be ripped off, the commands that she obeys. Our whole experience has been amazing, and Leah is truly blessed with her talent to be able to communicate with these dogs and help them and the families. I would give Leah 10 stars if I could! Her passion for helping dogs (and owners) was evident the first time I took Lucy to puppy training. She has a tremendous depth of knowledge with extensive experience in a wide range of training and behavioral situations. Just over the course of a few months she has taught me so much more than just sit and stay. She is committed to educating owners about dogs and proper dog ownership so you can truly enjoy your 4 legged companion! Leah is responsive, understanding and always willing to provide recommendations and feedback. She has helped Lucy from the early puppy stages and we are now doing obedience training and confidence building to eventually be off leash 💜 I can’t stress enough how lucky anyone would be to have her train you and your fur-baby!! We are so excited to continue our training with her 😊

We took our 3 year old pit mix to legally unleashed k9 services for basic obedience and could not be happier with the results! Leah is a great trainer and she works with you to personalize you and your pets training goals, she was readily available for quick and easy communication and was great with our pup. We will definitely be returning to legally unleashed k9 services for any future training needs and would recommend to anyone with a new puppy or even an adult dog that you wished listened better or had better manners!
