Let's Go K9 Training

I paid to have Meredith board and train my new to me husky Kira for 4 weeks. I pick Kira up today, and we had our first “go home” session yesterday at balboa park. It was extremely worth it. During those 4 weeks Kira significantly reduced her reactivity/neediness responses, and she is now trained to walk pretty much off leash with her ecollar. We have more work to do together before I can fully trust Kira off leash, I just adopted her from the shelter 2 months ago. But the difference is night and day. She actually listens now. I highly recommend you hire meredith. She also does boarding which we will be utilizing.

I’ve always been skeptical about dog trainers, but once my dog came back from letsgoK9,I noticed the difference. When I got Liberty she was a rescue dog that was scared of anything and everything. When she got back from letsgoK9,I was able to take her on walks without her wanting to bolt. She is not disturbed by dogs or people anymore. This happened in a two week board and train session. The prices were much better than others who charged way too much. With these prices, I am able to continue liberty’s training with Meredith has made me see dog trainers in a whole different way. Meredith also is very caring with a calm voice. I can’t wait till our next session. 😊

Sending our 4 month-old golden retriever to Let’s GoK9! 2-week Board and Train was truly the best money we have ever spent! Our dog had serious problems with resource guarding, and in spite of researching solutions for this problem and also taking him to lots of puppy classes, we were unable to make any progress. We found ourselves constantly trying to bribe him with treats, and getting nowhere! After returning back home from Board and Train time with Meredith, it was like we had a NEW DOG! And we also think that our dog is really pleased and proud of his new skills! Before taking him home, Meredith spent a lot of time with us, to help us reinforce new strategies so that our dog does not regress when he got home (and he hasn’t!) In addition to eliminating our dog’s resource guarding habit, our dog came home a much better dog. He now walks more calmly on the leash, readily accepts having his leash on and readily goes into his crate. We think this is because of Meredith’s consistent schedule and setting ground rules. Also, we think she is a dog whisperer! We highly recommend Meredith and Let’sGoK9 Training. Not only was it lasting and effective training for our dog, Meredith took really good care of him. He came home a happy and well-behaved dog! You can’t put a price on that!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Meredith for our dog’s three-week training program. From the very first day, her kindness and genuine love for dogs shone through in everything she did. I have a 9 month old German shepherd who I was having trouble with, one with the basics and two recall. I am moving to the mountains soon so I first sent my dog sunny with Meredith for a 3 week boars and train to focus on a place command to calm down and help with her leash reactivity. She came back from that SO much easier to walk. She of course will still bark at dogs but that is homework on my end to work on timing being aware and continuing Meredith’s training. The first 3 weeks i give 10/10. Instead of a follow up which comes with your 3 week board and train i opted to send sunny back for her 2 week board and train option. This time with focus on recall. I picked sunny up today and I met Meredith at a park where we walked a trail and i was in shock with the difference in sunny!! She really has helped us so much connecting and being confident in training our puppy. The 2nd week i also give 10/10! Meredith is knowledgeable and obviously effective in her work and i would highly recommend working with her!
