Levels K9

Absolutely love Erik and Wanda and their team! They’ve completely established a reliable foundation with my Doberman, and made us feel like part of the family. They’ve continued to provide support and access to their facilities after his boarding ended with them, and I’ve sent him back for refreshers and short term boarding. Erik recommended a stim collar for my very large strong headed boy, and learning to use it and train with Derrick at home has left me with lasting skills. If I had gone with another training team that didn’t place as much emphasis on rebuilding engagement and trust with my dog, and that didn’t offer the long term access to the team I don’t know where we’d be. I came to Levels with a dog who I increasingly didn’t like and was afraid I couldn’t handle, and now he’s an extension of my life and his obedience shows to all who see us together.

Where do I even start? I cannot tell you how wonderful levels canine is and their training methods. I took my young pup there just because I wanted to make sure he got a good foundation and they completely knocked it out of the park. I cannot believe how well-behaved and well-trained my dog came back to me. Not only this, but our bond is so much stronger because of it. They took such phenomenal care of my dog and it showed with every update that they sent me how much they cared about him. If you're ever looking to take your dog to a trainer, I cannot recommend this place enough. They are so gentle, kind and patient with each and every dog and owner They really gave me the confidence to start over with another dog, especially since I lost my confidence when my last dog died of cancer. So please I highly recommend go to levels canine! They are awesome!

We had a great experience with Levels K9. Our German Shepherd, Dan, was terrible on the leash whenever he saw other dogs. Walks used to be stressful and difficult to manage. After working with their trainers, Dan’s behavior improved so much that we can now take him on walks without any issues around other dogs. The trainers (Wanda, Erik, Abigail, Jackye, Jazmyn) were knowledgeable and patient, and they gave us the tools we needed to keep reinforcing the training at home. We’re really happy with the results and would definitely recommend Levels K9 to anyone struggling with leash behavior. The training team truly cares and they are like our family now. We highly recommend them for any dog training.

My husband and I couldn't recommend Levels K9 more highly to others. When we brought our dog, Loki, home from the shelter he was very reactive and protective of us and our home. Erik went out of his way to meet us for an evaluation for a board and train, but at the time he didn't think Loki was ready. Erik could have sent us home and said try back in a few months, but instead he came up with a plan to get Loki ready to safely attend his board and train. Erik worked with us for about 5 months via FaceTime (due to distance) to teach Loki the basic skills in order to safely get Loki to Levels K9. We brought Loki up for another evaluation and he was deemed ready. Erik and his team (who are also absolutely incredible) worked with him for 8 weeks. They would provide us videos, photos, texts, and phone call updates daily and weekly. When his training was complete, two of the trainers (Abigail and Jasmine, who are awesome) drove Loki 3 hours to our home and stayed the weekend to help teach us and make sure Loki readjusted back home safely. Even after the B&T, they call us to check in and have offered to come out to us if we ever have any issues arise. Before Levels K9, we had to medicate and crate Loki when people came over because of his anxiety; when we encountered dogs, people, bikes/scooters, etc on our walks, he would become so anxious and fearful that he would turn around and sprint home. Now, we put Loki to work and refocus his energy when people come over with the skills Levels K9 taught him and us. We were able to have Loki loose in the house with guests visiting for the weekend and we have minimal issues on walks anymore. We are also able to take him out to restaurants and in public with minimal issues so far. His fear and anxiety have drastically diminished and when we see him fearful we refocus his energy on his work. The trainers were also able to wean him off his anxiety medications and he is doing amazing. I was worried Loki wouldn't be the same dog as when we dropped him off but that most definitely isn't the case. He still has his personality that we love but he is just so much more manageable and obedient when we need him to be and incredibly less anxious and fearful. Levels K9 kept all of Loki's wonderful traits and helped him deal with his anxiety and fear in a healthier way. I would highly recommend Levels K9 to anyone looking to have their dog trained, reactive or not. They treat the dogs so incredibly well and are so trustworthy. We are so thankful to everyone at Levels K9, they have truly given us the ability to have a fun and wonderful life with Loki!
