Liberty Dog Training School

We have done puppy training, CGC training, agility training and now Therapy Dog training all through Liberty. Yes the space is smaller but so are most places you visit with your dog unless outdoors making it more realistic in my view. Nancy takes the time to talk to each owner on the specifics of their dog and the relationship they sees between both relating it to her many years of experience. I recently went through the beginning rally class and do not recommend this place. I have been through classes at K9 to Five and the Schenectady Dog Training Club. I was unable to schedule this course at either place and tried Liberty Training for convenience and availibily. The facilities and training at Liberty training were not adequate or professional. The owner did tell me up front that she used her basement however it was completely inadequate for my 90# lab mix especially with other dogs and owners in the small area. The thing I found most distressing was the lack of focus on the training. The "trainer" more often than not conversed with others when the dogs were going through the course. Had I not known how other facilities did their training I might take this as normal. The fees are the highest I have paid for a class with the least return. The obedience, therapy dog. and CGC (Canine Good Citizen) courses available at the other training facilities I mentioned are really professional and a greater value. I did not tour the facilities or read reviews other than on the place's website. This is not a mistake I will repeat.
