Lion K9 Training is 100% worth it!!! Rob the trainer and owner is incredible at what he does! Our large lab mix dog needed some basic training as well as some aggression training. We didn’t know who would be the best fit as our dog has certain needs to be tended to and wanted to find someone we could really trust. A current client of his recommended Rob to us, and their dog has had an incredible transformation with his confidence, aggression issues, and overall training. We live in San Francisco, a 1.5 hour drive to get to his training yet we feel it is more than worth it as finding a trainer you can trust and rely on isn’t easy to find in the Bay Area. Rob not only takes the takes the time to care and cater his training to each dog’s needs, but also genuinely cares about the success of the dogs and makes sure the owners are on top of their homework and consistent training! Rob checks in regularly to see how training and homework are going, is very clear with his directions and training goals for us, and is a really great person to work with in general. We are thrilled to continue our dog’s training with Rob, and see how much happier our dog is from training, which makes us a happy family! Highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to train their fur babies!!!

I had always trained my mixed breed dogs myself but when we adopted a Shepherd/Malinois mix, I really wanted the expertise of a professional acquainted with the breeds to help me make sure Billie would be a breed role model and a happy dog. I had seen Rob's business on car rides before but when our vet also referred him, I knew it was time to reach out and I'm very happy I did. Rob's love for dogs shines through in everything he does. I wasn't able to articulate exactly what I wanted to achieve with Billie in terms of training but, after our initial consultation with Rob, I knew I at least wanted to continue with basic obedience and see what else might pique Billie's interest. Rob is no-nonsense and you will not see the results you want with your pup if you don't do your homework daily (which should not be an issue for any responsible dog owner!) but you will be so proud of yourself and your dog when you show up to the field and you're able to go through all of the paces Rob puts you through. Rob is very knowledgeable and trains to your dog's abilities. Unlike most trainers, he doesn't have a flat fee for a certain number of lessons with "guaranteed" results. He works with you based on your goals, your progress, and how your dog responds to the training. We also adopted a German Shepherd pup and started him with Rob as well. If we hadn't relocated to NY, we would still be in training with Rob, I cannot recommend Lion K9 highly enough!
