I’m so happy that I met Lisa to help us with our Beagle Brody. I’m so proud of him because he is very well behaved only because of her training methods. I love that we can communicate with him without convincing him with treats (major plus)! We went through puppy, beginners, and intermediate classes and look forward to advanced classes in the spring. I always tell people that I have as much fun in her training classes as Brody does!!! If you are looking to create a strong bond between you and your fur baby she will help you! And even though treats aren’t the main focus in her training, she encourages treats at other times, for example, she brings her own treats to give out to everyone at the end of classes or on breaks during training. She is full of knowledge about dogs and loves sharing it!

I have only experienced the puppy class, but have been very happy with the results I have had from Lisa's training. I had a biting, dominant-acting out of control puppy that was upsetting the whole household. She spend nearly an hour and a half with us at NO CHARGE and gave us guidelines and information that changed the behavior of that puppy in less than a week's time. She also allows you to text her when you are having an issue and gives practical advice to apply right then and there. If you really listen to her explanations without judging and follow through, you will see great results and a stronger bond with your dog. The puppy class taught me I have to be the leader, but with positives and praise. Until 16 weeks--- only two no's alllowed...pottying in the house and biting. We learned to say that word in a way that meant business... in a tone of voice that's totally different than regular interaction. I'll always be thankful to her for setting us straight on the rules and boundaries puppies need to learn from 8 to 16 weeks. No, she does not train with treats, but with tone of voice and praise. Ask lots of questions before choosing a trainer and attending class and you'll be a satisfied customer!

We took our 2 year old heeler mix to Lisa and saw results even after the first lesson. She taught us valuable commands and tips that will help us not only with Astro, but with any other dogs that we will own in the future!
