I’m so happy I signed my Tootsie girl up for classes. When I rescued her, she was shy and timid of other dogs and people. I was worried this would affect her in class, however I was totally wrong. She was shy at first, but with each week she started to gain confidence. She not only learned her basic manners, but she’s blossomed into a confident and happy pup that has conquered her fears. The skilled and passionate and fun approach to training is refreshing and effective! Not a one size fits all, every pup gets specific attention and suggestions.
I am so glad Listen Here Dog Training opened in White Center! I have trained two dogs through this program. Summer makes the training easy to understand and apply in our daily life. She has a great sense of humor and creates a relaxed environment for the dogs and owners to make lots of mistakes and learn together. Summer is a knowledgeable resource for all things dogs.

I learned about Summer and Listen Here Dog Training from my neighbors whose dogs are very well trained. I brought my puppy to puppy preschool at Listen Here. I could not be more grateful for the knowledge and care that Summer shows in her classes. The folks who interact with my dog have all been impressed with the things that my puppy knows because of the fundamentals Summer showed us in class. Summer is also very kind in her feedback - I asked her (many questions!) about my dog interacting with my toddler and apparently had been doing some things fundamentally wrong. Her suggestions for steps forward were constructive and immensely helpful to lay a happy foundation for the dog and kiddo.
