FirstBarkAll of the trainers are extremely knowledgeable and the quality of the dogs themselves is outstanding. Just be prepared to work it is an extremely fast paced course and will require some additional work on your own at night. Being a K9 handler is like no other assignment in Police work so the training is very intense.

The Little Rock K-9 Academy was established in 1983... We are a full time small canine company that train and sell narcotic detector, tracking and patrol apprehension dogs. We are sometimes among the overlooked canine companies, yet we have trained and provided police service dogs to law enforcement agencies in more than 35 states and several countries. We provide comprehensive canine handler classes with each canine we sell and our “outrageous customer service” is second to none.

This class was excellent and exceeded my expectations of k9 training. They have a very knowledgeable group of instructors with a lot of experience in training and handling k9. The course was very in depth with book and hands on skills. The k9 that was picked for me by the academy was very rock solid and very pleased with him. I would recommend them for your k9 needs. Tony makes sure you understand in ends and outs of your k9 and will go above and beyond to make sure you understand everything you need to know about your k9.
