I can only hope that the people wanting to train their dogs will read the one-star reviews here and take them all to heart--- and then take their business far, far away elsewhere. The workers (I refuse to call them trainers) force dogs into submission and use fear to control the dogs. There is no teaching involved, just repeated yanking on the leash until the dog is too confused and scared to do anything. Two individuals came to our house for a trial, and by the end of it, our friendly, non-aggressive, and FULLY HOUSE TRAINED 2 year old dog had defecated on the floor out of fear and began hiding underneath furniture, trembling, once the choke collar was taken off. I had never seen him act this way prior to the treatment from Lorenzo's Dog Team. Their explanation was that "Dogs would rather defecate on the floor than lie down on command. You need to show them that you have the power and are in control." Which is utterly false--- my dog did not defecate because he was being defiant, he was so scared that he lost all control of his bowels. Look into trainers who use positive-reinforcement (which they claimed to be ineffective when training; completely false information.) Lorenzo's team has a fundamental misunderstanding of the nature of dogs, and I would never recommend that anyone send their dog here. UPDATE: I fully believe that this company is deleting negative reviews, as is mentioned by another commenter. These people treat dogs horrifically, and more reviews should reflect that. Lorenzo's "Dog Training" Team should not be in operation and should be shut down. Permanently. Do not trust them around your dogs.

Robert from Lorenzo’s Dog Training Team is an amazing trainer. He truly changed my life. I was frustrated with my GSD pup. After Robert was done, my Hunter became a completely different dog! He’s no longer mouthy, he listens to me and knows I’m in the boss and that I will protect him. His reactivity with dogs is gone and I feel comfortable taking him places with me. Robert is basically a dog himself and makes training not seem like a job that needs to be done but actually something fun. I recommend him whenever I hear someone struggling with their dogs!! He is 1000% worth the money!

💙💙💙👦🐕💙💙💙💙 Big shout out to Clark Patton, Executive Team Leader, with Lorenzo's Dog Training Team. Clark had his hands full as my adorable pooch did not like (umm.. do) leash walking, barked at home visitors, and generally was afraid of many things in his new environment. With Clark's caring guidance, my 44 lb Goldendoodle, Milton, is now a confident, calm, personable companion. Clark's knowlege of dog psychology is incredible. He helped me understand the what and why of my dog's fear based behavior. (Yes, I also needed lots of training.) Milton understands hand signals as well as verbal commands. I now have a well mannered dog (tons of compliments) that takes long walks in the forest, is happy, playful, and looks to me for expectation in any given situation. If Mom says it's ok, it's ok. Trust bonds are palable. Clark has made such an impact. He's set Milton and me up for a better life together - one full of adventures, road trips, hikes, beach combing, and chillin' - just me and my Dood. Thank you, Clark.
