Lose The Leash Dog Training

6 stars! My dog Molly has made incredible progress thanks to Rob's expert guidance—and I’ve learned even more (because, let’s be honest, it’s really about training the humans!). The private lessons were a great way to build confidence with the basics, and the group classes are so much fun. All the dogs adore Rob, and the humans do too! Erin keeps everything running smoothly and is always responsive, kind, and helpful. This program is 100% worth the time and investment for both you and your furry friend!

We adopted Stella, a 6-year-old Jack Russell terrier mix (yeah, THAT) about 15 months ago. She had been surrendered by her older adult owner who was moving into assisted living and couldn't take Stella along. Understandably, she came with some trust and fear. Stella liked us immediately, but disliked most people, and REALLY disliked ALL other dogs, growling and pulling anytime we walked her in our neighborhood. A friend recommended Lose the Leash, and we invited Rob over a year ago this month. He had Stella figured out right away, and us, too, because, let's be honest, dog training is for the owners. In three private lessons, and a year's worth of dog meetups at various parks, our girl has come so far! She still occasionally tries to show other dogs who's boss (it's the JR in her), but she's learning to play, and even invite play with Rob's other student dogs. She understands that she isn't in charge, she doesn't have to be, and that it's our job to protect her. This guy works magic.

Wonderful investment for our whole family! We owe our pups amazing behavior and adaptability to Rob. We started with Rob the first week we brought our puppy home and he customized his training to fit our needs and our family. My 6 year old can walk our puppy down the street on leash (with me) and I have no fear of the dog dragging her down the street to chase a bunny. She listens and is very connected to her training. Our dogs also behave at dinner (a huge concern of mine) and love their crate (which I didn't think was possible). The in-person group training was also a valuable resource as we started to socialize and take our dog to more public places. Best behaved dog at the Brewery! Now we have a newer pup and we are going through all the same stages and I know the work is worth it! Thank you, Loose the Leash! We had a strong need and desire for behavior modification. The positive changes have developed in mere days whereas we had prepared ourselves for months. It’s been positively surreal. We will continue to use Lose The Leash’s expertise and guidance as the “before and after” are simply intoxicating. In fact, we are strongly considering adding a new pup to the family now that we have gained a sense of empowerment in developing and maintaining an optimal dynamic. Rob has been a godsend in getting my two bulldogs to behave. Actually it wasn't them that needed the training, it was my family. We now have tools to help us direct them behave. We were on the verge of having to give one of the dogs away when we called Rob. The one-on-one in-home training method addresses issues that the group training in the local pet store cannot.
