Lose The Leash Dog Training

I have 2 dogs: a 2 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback (80+ lbs) and a 2-3 year old rescue GSP (60 lbs). Whenever anyone came over, both dogs stormed the door with the Ridgeback being grumpy and fearful while the GSP was too friendly and jumpy. Of course, we had to block the door like hockey goalie so the dogs wouldn't bolt out. AND THEN WE MET ROB... now our boys don't react at the door. They stay on their pillows until released and greet people calmly. The ridgeback is no longer tail-tucked and the GSP doesn't jump all over our guests. They well-behaved and our visitors comment on their perfect behavior. The dogs now sit whenever the door is open and do not try to go out until given the ok. Now let me tell you about their walking. Both needed a pinch collar and the GSP would pull something fierce. I figured the GSP would either cause me to have shoulder surgery and was going to trip me during our walks. With Rob's training, it is a night and day difference. The Ridgeback now walks calmly when he sees other dogs and people and the GSP no longer walks in my path and the pulling has stopped. It is TRULY AMAZING what Rob can do in such a short period time. I am grateful to find Lose the Lease Training and can not give him a higher recommendation. On a scale of 5 stars, Rob deserves 10.

So thankful for Rob. We came to him after our two boys got in a fight and we were unsure if we’d have to rehome one of them. It’s been 5 months, and the boys have not fought since! That was my only goal for training and got so much more. Our dog Appa (right) was extremely afraid of dog parks and skiddish around all other dogs. Thanks to the individual classes with Rob AND the group classes Appa now goes into and plays at dog parks and lets other dogs sniff him and vice versa. Gamgee (left) had so much energy and not a lot of manners. Now he doesn’t pull on his leash when on walks, listens to me in crowded areas and I can take him to fun places like farmers markets. My family and I are forever thankful for Rob giving us this newfound freedom with our boys.

Rob is excellent at his craft!! He has the experience, energy and passion to work with you so that it is easy to apply for training. We had some specific requests, fine tuning the basic obedience, taking Gretta - 11 mon. & when graduated 1 year old to the next level in training. Gretta responded so well and was doing great we added in Sophie - 4 yrs. Rob showed us how to best communicate with our dogs and help them and us understand. Our main goals were achieved 100%. No jumping, waiting for guests to enter and staying. Barking at guests and deliveries. Understanding when a time out is important for rest. The best is that their darling personalities did not change and loving ways with the family improved!! Rob is not expensive but well worth the cost. Rob is honest and will spend time getting to know you and let you know the number of trainings needed. He nailed it!! At first we were sure Gretta would be adding more, not needed. We will keep it up and Rob has separate offerings to help keep it going which we are excited to do at times. We will follow his lead!! I read all the reviews and met Rob, VERY HAPPY we have Rob!!
