Love Me Always Dog Training

We decided to send our Dalmatian, Dinka, to finishing school (aka training) as Dals are a unique breed of soooo much energy and high spirit that to *not* train them is to do a disservice to them and to their owners, neighbors, friends, etc. Upon inquiry everywhere, “Brittany” is the name we kept coming across and it was all good! We chose the three week training when Dinka was 10 1/2 months of age and she mastered every skill presented to her through Brittany’s positive and fun training style. We would definitely choose Brittany if we had it to do over again. Our Dinka is a better pet and a happier pet, proudly showing off her good behavior chops.

Phoenix has been there for four weeks for advanced obedience. He he now training to be a service dog. The day after I got him back, I took Phoenix out for his first indoor, non-pet friendly location for service dog training. It was an elementary with sounds of basketball practice down the hall, and sound of other kids the other way. Many sounds and a coupe sights that could distract, but otherwise empty halls. Once a kid ran past Phoenix when I had him in a down stay and he stayed. It was a very successful training session. Of course it is absolutely imperative that owners continue to work on behaviors that are learned with Brittany, to generalize behaviors and work on distance, duration, and distractions. But credit to Love Me Always who laid the foundation.
