We had a great experience working with Jane! She was incredibly responsive and booked all four of our sessions before beginning so we could be sure our puppy training wouldn’t be interrupted. Jane met us where we were at and gave us the tools requested to work with our puppy. I think most of all, Jane’s gentle approach helped us change the way we work with our dog and helped us understand his personality. We finished about a month ago, and continue our practices daily. It’s helped us build a great relationship with our new dog!

We worked with Jane over the last 5 weeks and had a great experience! Jane is wonderful with dogs and is a very experienced trainer. She stays up-to-date on training techniques and even went to a national conference during our training. Our 1-year-old golden retriever Finn has a lot of energy and we were having issues with greetings and jumping on people. He showed significant improvement over the 5-week course and helped ease our anxiety when we have company and when we walk him off leash. I highly recommend hiring Jane to help with your dog training!

We started working with Jane to help our little rescue Theo. He is a very timid and shy little guy and we just want him to live his best life. Jane and I spoke on the phone for our initial consultation and her kind and gentle spirit was immediately apparent. She already had some suggestions and ideas that we talked through in anticipation of our first session. When we first got together, what I most appreciated is she met Theo where he was. Nothing stressful, no rushing, just calmly letting Theo get used to her presence. She taught me several gentle massage techniques to help Theo experience new sensations, she recommended a good harness and leash set for him, and a few other tools to help him succeed. She encouraged us as well to let Theo progress at his own pace without any expectations or preconceived ideas. Jane explains everything so well and she really helped both my husband and I to look at things in different ways so we could better help him. Since our initial training sessions have ended, Theo has made great strides. He actually had his first ever zoomies just the other day and he seems more confident in himself. I am so thankful for all of Jane’s wisdom and encouragement through this process and I look forward to our future sessions where we will hopefully be taking Theo on walks with his brother Tobin.

Working with Jane ( Love Your Dog) has been a wonderful experience. We started with her as soon as we brought our puppy home, the training and knowledge has been invaluable for both me and Woody ( our now almost 3 year old Golden Retriever). The puppy course she provides is a perfect way to get on the right track with training. We have continued to work with Jane as new challenges come up through the stages of our young dog's life. Each time she has had wonderful advice, information and solutions. I highly recommend taking the time to work with Jane, if you are a first time dog owner or have had many dogs in your life.
