About Low To Ground Kennels LLC
We train and use our dogs for the purpose of finding wounded big game, deer and bear. We are located in Louisburg, NC. We service Franklin and surrounding counties. We have a 4 run indoor/outdoor dog kennel with heat and AC and can board dogs for training in big game recovery. We also breed and sell AKC registered standard Wirehaired Dachshunds for the purpose of hunting and tracking, occasionally offering trained and started dogs. Jeff is a great dude and Cooper is an absolute UNIT! I would put these two against any other nose in the state without a doubt! Awesome to be able to see such an awesome team work the way they do! 10000% recommend!
Cooper is an amazing dog! We had tracked a blood trail 400 yards and lost it when the deer stepped into the water of a swamp. Came back the next day with Cooper and he found that deer in less than 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend him.

Took a shot at a good Buck Sunday evening. Had lots blood first 150 yards in cutover then NOTHING. Had 10 guys look over 7 hours beyond last blood and nothing. My friend sent me Jeff info at Low to Ground Kennels. After looking at his website pics couple videos and all 5.0 stars I reached out Monday am. He quickly responded and said he just got home from work and needed to sleep and would call at 1pm. I figured he would not call. At 1 he called and him and Cooper were on the way. I told him the “story” had everything marked on my GPS and Cooper quickly went to work. He followed the 21 hour old trail straight to last blood. I told Jeff I would wait there because I knew they be back. 5 minutes later my walkie-talkie went off, Jeff said Cooper had my deer 75 yards in deep cutover following NO blood. Jeff did exactly what he said he would do. I told him I hope I don’t have to call him again but would not Hesitate to call him in the future. Cooper is the Real deal!!
Jeffery and his dog are jam up in my book and he knows exactly how his dog works he was a huge recovery in my recovery of my buck
