FirstBarkJeff asked good questions and showed up when he said he would . Dog went to work and found the deer quickly. Jeff helped mark trail out so I could come back in am and find my lost ear aid, which I found next morning after contacting Jeff and having him re-step our tracks from the night before.

We train and use our dogs for the purpose of finding wounded big game, deer and bear. We are located in Louisburg, NC. We service Franklin and surrounding counties. We have a 4 run indoor/outdoor dog kennel with heat and AC and can board dogs for training in big game recovery. We also breed and sell AKC registered standard Wirehaired Dachshunds for the purpose of hunting and tracking, occasionally offering trained and started dogs. Jeff and cooper do amazing work. Highly recommend to anyone who needs help tracking a poorly shot or wounded deer. Great guy to work with very knowledgeable about a tracking a wounded deer and its blood and how it's acting.
Found my buck in 5 minutes!
Jeff and Cooper did an amazing job for us. I shot a mature buck around 5:05pm in the rain. Due to he rain, the blood trail was washed away. Jeff came with Cooper around 9:30am the following day. Copper found my deer within minutes. They were awesome.

During Muzzleloader season, I shot a large Black Bear at sunset. Tracked a good blood trail the next morning for 400 yards, but the bear crossed a creek with no additional sign on the other side. Jeff and Cooper arrived within an hour of calling him. Cooper immediately picked up the trail across the creek. Cooper tracked him more than 400 yards through thick briars and brush. Cooper found more sign confirming we were on the bear’s track, but we determined it was not a mortal hit. Jeff is friendly and very knowledgeable about hunting and tracking. Cooper did an exceptional job tracking! I highly recommend calling Jeff if you ever need help tracking a Deer or Bear!
