The classes teach so much more than "sit," and I have learned so much to help my dog not only be well mannered but also how to be safe and happy. I would highly recommend them, and specifically Rach.

Our most popular training option is group classes They are the best way to cover all your bases! These four to six-week courses meet for 50 minutes at the same time each week to complete a set agenda designed by our trainers. Worried about getting lost in the crowd? Are you guys open? Called and had to leave a message and got no return call. Was wanting info on puppy class which your website says starts 11/7.
They are a great company, it isn't usual at all for no reply communication from them. The trainers and owner are incredible. They are very dedicated to providing the best experience when using the services they provide for you.They go above and beyond to help you and your pet.

My pup and I just finished their basic manners program. He's 10 months old and we got 6 50 minute lessons for $165 I believe they offer bundles for younger pups. I would definitely recommend Lauren!!! She was amazing and took the time to walk us through everything even stayed after class to help ease some concerns we were having. My experience with this company has been nothing short of excellent. Their customer service is outstanding. I would email them or call again! Their store is open until 8pm. M-T I believe.

This is a great group. Give them time or even stop by their facility to meet the trainers. They are all extremely helpful. I loved my experience with them and am taking my next dog there for obedience training.

do you support the use of e collars and prong collars for training?
No, we do not use either of those training tools. We are an all positive training center therefore we use markers and rewards.

I have two dogs and a foster. One of my dogs has attacked the Foster a few times. Can that be "trained" out of him?
That would be something the trainers might be able to help you with. They would need to see you & your dogs.

I did MULTIPLE training classes with this facility, Puppy, Advanced, Zen Dog, and two Nosework Classes. At the last Nosework class my dog, who was about a year and a half old, got excited and tried to run up to another dog working. That one act over almost 2 years and 5 classes? Got me banned from sports classes (which no one EVER told me, despite multiple phone calls back and forth) and my dog essentially labeled aggressive/reactive. I have an extremely friendly german shepherd, goes to work with me (at a vet), goes to his pet sitters work (also a vet), goes to day care frequently, I've taken him on a train in Colorado, and gone on hikes with friends and their dogs. But sure. He's "reactive." After that incident, Amanda made me and my dog go stand isolated in the middle of the room. It was humiliating. Offered no correction or advice, but I was told by Melinda "it's not her job, she's a nose work trainer." God forbid you work in a training center and know how to manage situations with living animals in a dignified way. When I spoke with Melinda about it as I've wanted to start up Nosework again, because that incident put me off Lucky Dog for a while, she came across as judgmental and spoke down to me the entire time. She basically accused me of pushing my dog into situations "he wasn't ready for" and he needed private lessons. No. My dog needs to learn how to manage his excitement in a controlled environment (and funny enough, every class this place offers to help with that, conveniently isn't available.) Which I told her and she got all huffy about. For someone who kept saying she didn't know where my dog was at in his training, she sure was loud about basically telling me what a poor job I was doing. My dog is friendly and gets excited. That's it. And they still can't work with that? Laughable. Thanks, I'll go find an experienced trainer now who actually listens and empathizes and knows what they're doing. You can keep your judgement and attitude. I'll be sure to tell my friend who's about to start classes there with HER german shepherd who IS reactive that she should go elsewhere. Should have stuck to my instincts and found a different trainer after the last class and the gross feeling they left me with. Me and my dog deserve better than that.
I’ve been super happy with the quality of instruction we’ve had as owners. Lea and other staff members are very helpful and friendly. We enjoy our weekly manners classes and hope to stick around for some dog sports soon!
Basic course covers: sit, stay, leave it, emergency call back, not jumping on people, get off furniture, and more. If you want a well behaved pet, the this is the place.
We love Lucky Dog! I have been in many classes and my dogs have learned a lot while enjoying each one!
