Lucky Dog Training Club

I spent $1249 for an unlimited month package of training for my puppy. She contracted kennel cough within the first week of going to the center. She was then out for one week on antibiotics. When she returned, she was very anxiety ridden when I would take her. I expressed my concern on several occasions to several different people at the center, and they all brushed it off. After she returned for her second week, I let them know that I was not seeing any results in her being there for eight hours a day, five days a week and me coming home and implementing the videos, which were completely repetitive the entire time. Once again, I was given an excuse of why the training hasn’t started working yet. After 10 days of her being back, she was yet again sick. When I went to pick her up, I was told by one of the employees that they had her in isolation for the day, because she showed signs of illness. Not one employee notified me prior to this and left me feeling very upset that she was left in a crate with a board put in between for an entire day instead of reaching out to me so that I could get her to a vet immediately. I had to pull her out again because of this illness, which was conjunctivitis this time and was told by an employee that she probably caught it at my home, which I have no other dogs or pets at. She missed almost 2 weeks of training because of her illnesses and When I asked for a refund of those two weeks because I was not comfortable, bringing her back because of the combination of her being ill so much and the fact that they didn’t call me when they noticed she was ill. They refused to give me any kind of refund. I am now out $1249 for training that did absolutely nothing as well as almost $400 in Vet bills. I would not recommend this training facility to anybody.

From moment one: awesome! We met Jamie Diaz, the owner, through a Peggy Adams group training class which was extremely helpful! She was informative, patient, and kind. From her, we were introduced to Lucky Dog where we met with Toni, the Director. The best part was the initial evaluation: it cut through my assumptions to how my dogs are and exactly what they need: day training! On to the personalized training and socialization! Each and every person, from reception to every trainer, was informative and kind. The website stores all of their personalized training videos for me to revisit (I am the one being trained) to continuing education at home! They answer any questions at any time: only the very best for my boys!

We had life-changing results using Lucky Dog Training Club. My husband and I were struggling with our high energy, reactive 3 1/2 year old dog. We had tried numerous trainers, and even tried meds for a short while with our Murphy. This winter we signed Murphy up for a Peggy Adam’s training class, Taming Tarzan. It was there we found Toni and her amazing team from Lucky Dog. During this class Murphy was finally responding to the positive tools given to us by these wonderful trainers. When these classes were finished we asked Toni how to proceed. Murphy is now enrolled in Lucky Dog’s day training course where he receives one-on-one training meeting his special needs, group lessons where he learns to interact with other dogs and also structured walks where they assist in teaching Murphy better leash etiquette. And the best part is at the end of the day we are emailed videos of his training session so we can follow up at home. We cannot thank Toni and her amazing Lucky Dog Training team for all of their help. Murphy has dramatically improved and we are forever grateful. Highly recommend!
