Lupo Canine Services

I wanted to share my recent experience with Frank and Kayla at Lupo Canine Services in hopes that it will help others see what sets them apart from other facilities. I originally found them by chance while looking for basic obedience training for my 10 month old lab Fred. I, at the time, was only a few months pregnant and was already very worried about bringing a baby into our home with such a hyperactive, overstimulated lab. When I went in for his free consultation, I immediately got a good feeling. Frank was very thorough and addressed all of my concerns. I didn't feel pressured to choose his services, but his extensive knowledge and calm, kind demeanor made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Fred also took to him immediately. We decided to do the 4 week board and train program. We went to visit many times during his stay, and each time not only was Fred in great spirits and making amazing progress, but Frank and Kayla took the time to make each of our visits into little lessons. We never felt rushed and also were welcomed whenever we wanted to visit. The day we brought Fred home, they dedicated the whole afternoon to us. We were there as long as it took for us to feel comfortable implementing everything he learned over the last month. They taught us not just what to do and what to say, but how to better understand him to build a successful, trusting relationship. Frank also stressed to us that our relationship did not end just because the 4 week training was over. We have continued to talk and he has supported us through the transition into the home. Fred has now been home for a few weeks, and I can't even tell you how much our life and relationship with him has changed for the better. He is attentive, obedient, gentle, and much calmer. He is still a playful silly puppy, but knows when it's time to listen without hesitation. I feel so confident bringing a baby into the home with his new behavior, and I cannot thank them enough for taking that stress away from us. Not only are Frank and Kayla amazing trainers, but they are wonderful people who care so much about each dog they work with and their owners. I cannot express how happy I am with Fred's results and will forever recommend Lupo Canine Services.

6 weeks ago Mr. Fred began his " train and board" training at Lupo Canine Services . I will say Fred is a love, a big ole happy, goofy boy...but to say he had alot of "energy" would be well...an understatement. He didnt know how to self regulate,we didn't know how to regulate him and he did everything on a high level. He is a smart guy who figured out his way around things...and us. Enter Frank and Kayla... Within just a few days Frank figured out what made Fred tick. He could understand Fred's behavior and I believe as quickly as Fred began to enjoy his time there, they began to enjoy and "see" Fred. Oh, how I missed him while he was gone. The first time we went to visit him I fought back tears, not because I missed him,although I did, but because I could see within 1 weeks time a different behavior emerging from Fred. Frank and Kayla would share what Freddie was working on, we'd see examples of him in training and I was blown away. Frank has a unique gift, and FREDDIE ADORES HIM. His tail wags constantly when he's around them. (He really likes Kayla too. He's a Lil flirt). When he would leave to go back to his kennel at the end of our visit, Frank said "heel" and out the door they went , his tail just a waggin.. he was happy! As the days turned into weeks , between visits and videos, we were seeing Fred rise up to his greatest potential. I believe Fred has always had "it" in him, but it was Frank that brought it out. He saw the diamond in the ruff. His dedication to his craft and his subject is so apparent. He challenged Fred to be his best, not by force or by bullying him,not with with food or toy rewards but by using his years of training , his intuitiveness, and his consistency. He set the expections clearly for Freddie and praised him with his " good boiiiiy" when he accomplished the tasks in front of him. In addition to training Fred, we were trained as well. This is a lifestyle now, where Fred will be able to be a part of a family without creating chaos, or stress. We are now able to appreciate his silliness and loving demeanor because he is able to work and use his brain. We will continue to give him his "jobs" so he is using his noggin. Frank and Kayla are doing exactly what they've been called to do. And I will forever be grateful. Like Frank said, our relationship doesn't end when Freddie goes home. They are just really GOOD people. So, all that being said, this is no bs. These are facts..if you choose Lupo Canine Training, you will not regret it. Remember this when shopping around for a training facility, you get what you pay for. Just make an appointment go talk to Kayla and Frank and you will see EXACTLY why Freddie's successful. ( side note.. 6 weeks ago there is NO WAY Freddie would be this attentive). Thank you Kayla and Frank.Welcome to the family!

Frank and Kayla did an amazing job working with my dog, Finn, at levels 1 and 2!! They were patient with him and figured out how to best approach everything based on his personality in order for things to click. I was really impressed at how the training stuck from Day 1 with Finn and how confident he is in his work. Finn is the same happy dog he always was but now he has a great skillset that allows me to relax and have confidence he will recall both at home and in public. Frank and Kayla truly understand dogs and create a unique training framework based on how each dog learns, I couldn't recommend them more!!
