How much is it?
Private lessons are available. Around $80 for an hour. More reasonable than other places we contacted. But Macatawa also offers group classes, with several dogs in room. Listen to trainer then work with your own dog. These rates are much cheaper. We are in group class now. Highly recommended. Thx, Tim.

My name is Judie Schippa and my dogs name is Duke. We took one of your classes last August. Duke has been mouthing me, just me as far as I now. I tell him no and tell him to sit. I don't know what to do. we have little ones visit.

Erin has been awesome! She is great at communicating and has been flexible with appointments. We asked her to come back when we got our second dog. We wouldn’t have a dog without having her help train. People comment all the time on how well trained our dogs are. Dog whisperer.
Erin is amazing! She solved a major issue with our 4yo German Shepherd, and on top of that, taught us how to do door greet and car rides without issues! My dog loved her and so did we! She was very creative and did a great job teaching us the steps to take to train our dog properly. We tried multiple other trainers in the past with no luck. I highly recommend her!
Consistency, repetition, correction, praise and patience will lead your dog to success and that is what Erin at Macatawa Dog Training teaches you. She customizes a training plan that is right for you and your dog, not a cookie cutter program like others out there. She's my go to person when I need help with my dogs!

My yellow lab, Jessie, is a little over halfway through obedience training with Erin. In just three lessons, she's already improved IMMENSELY with her walking, door greet, and impulse control. Erin is half dog trainer, half people trainer. In our first session, I realized that she is not only teaching us how to teach our dog, but how to really COMMUNICATE with our dog. Erin explains the "what" and the "why" of what she's having us do. During the week between lessons, practicing what we've learned is so much more enjoyable because we have a better understanding of how to respond to certain situations. I thought youtube videos and books were enough to teach me how to train my dog, but I was so wrong. Enrolling Jessie at Macatawa Dog Training is easily the best money I've ever spent!
