How much is it?
Private lessons are available. Around $80 for an hour. More reasonable than other places we contacted. But Macatawa also offers group classes, with several dogs in room. Listen to trainer then work with your own dog. These rates are much cheaper. We are in group class now. Highly recommended. Thx, Tim.

My name is Judie Schippa and my dogs name is Duke. We took one of your classes last August. Duke has been mouthing me, just me as far as I now. I tell him no and tell him to sit. I don't know what to do. we have little ones visit.

After a few months working with Erin for private training and daycare, it's like we have a whole new dog! Erin immediately knew how to help us. We love daycare and so does our dog. They are kind and respectful and go out of their way to help you.

My dog, Bohdi, loves Macatawa Dog Training! In fact, he loves it so much that he can’t wait to greet Erin (the owner and trainer) as well as her staff, especially Robert, who is the first person who he sees when he arrives for doggie day care. At the end of the day, Bodhi typically does not want to leave Macatawa Dog Training either. Erin (owner/trainer) loves all of the dogs, and they love her! She is committed to your dogs' social development and physical health. With respect to social development, Erin is an extremely knowledgeable trainer who is able to train the dogs as well as impart that same knowledge and skill to the dogs’ people and staff. Erin is also committed to your dogs' physical health. The facility is spotless and smells clean. Furthermmore, all dogs are required to have the necessary vaccines required to protect the pack. And though unusual, but a tremendous plus, Erin allows the dogs to remain intact (unless the dogs' hormones cause a problem for the pack). More on spaying and neutering… Most doggie day cares that I have inquired about require all dogs, regardless of size, to be spayed or neutered at a specific age. This requirement can put some dogs at risk for certain physical problems. I suspect that these requirements are put in place in most doggie day cares for the convenience of the owners. Erin, however, chooses the dogs’ health over convenience to her. This very important decision is a solid indicator of Erin’s commitment to your dogs' personal physical health! I strongly recommend Macatawa Dog Training!
