Man's Best Friend

Man's Best Friend is an amazing organization. I would recommend them to anyone with a dog, even if they are already well behaved. The way my dog Rowan has calmed down with the training is wonderful, I get to watch him make decisions and I love seeing his brain calm down. Rowan was already my emotional support dog, but we needed him to be very well trained for when my husband comes home with his service dog. The staff kept us up to date several times a week with pictures on their Facebook page, and Shannon also called to update us. With the training package we chose, Man's Best Friend provided us with their Top Dog Academy online videos. We have lifetime access and we watched them several times at our own pace, we also watched the videos with our kids so they were fully aware of the expectations and new rules with our dog. The 3 hour training session with Shannon was so informative, Shannon clearly loves dogs and is very passionate about her business. She was patient with me, explained things clearly, answered all my questions, and really made me feel like I CAN be the leader my Rowan needs me to be. I know in my heart that Man's Best Friend will be there for us for the life of my Rowan. This training is worth every single penny and I am so grateful that I can trust myself and my Rowan to be a part of every aspect of my life. Thank you Shannon & everyone at Man's Best Friend! We LOVE you!

Our two Rottenweilers (yes, I said rottenweilers) went in for the month long training because they barked all the time, dug holes in the yard, didn't walk on a leash without pulling us everywhere, knocked us off our feet, our female bit me so hard she broke my finger and bit clear to the bone, in other words they were out of control! After going through the month of training with Shannon we got back two entirely different dogs. It is like night and day. I can't thank Shannon and her staff enough for the amazing transformation. We now have calm, well behaved dogs. I can't recommend Man's Best Friend enough.

This review is a long time coming. We had both of our dogs trained here, and had an incredible experience. It’s been two years and I constantly get comments from people on how well trained/behaved my dogs are. At the end of each the dogs training time, the hours spent “training” my husband and I was outstanding. We even had a follow up lesson to get us a little more trained/familiar with walking both dogs. Shanon and all the trainers that I met were so loving, caring, and yet had a firmness about what they expected from the dogs. Both of my dogs responded great. I would highly recommend Man’s Best Friend (and I have)!
