We’re kennel-free — dogs stay in my home with a yard, not in cages. It’s a safe, cozy, family-style environment.

He has this grounded presence with dogs that seems almost magical. I couldn’t believe how quickly my pup understood commands with his style of training.
I would recommend managed dogs to anyone with a pup!

Yosef is a miracle worker. My senior Pomeranian, Punch (11 years old), suffered from severe anxiety due to a stressful life transition we went through, which caused him to lose almost all of his fur to black skin disease. He was bald, stressed, and completely shut down. Since I found Managed Dogs we started intensive behavioral training, and it was the best decision I ever made. After 6 months (and still going) of incredibly hard, structured work, Punch is a completely different dog. His confidence skyrocketed, his joyful puppy-like energy is back, and his coat has entirely grown back in. Yosef’s deep understanding of dog psychology completely healed Punch inside and out. Truly high-end, expert care that is worth every penny.

I found Managed Dogs by chance, and I’m glad I did. I adopted a Dachshund, Oliver, who had severe anxiety that caused many behavioral problems. Yosef was so wonderful with him! He provided Oliver with positive reinforcement that helped him gain confidence thus reducing his bad behaviors. Yosef also proved me with the skills to help Oliver moving forward. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Managed Dogs is in a league of its own. I’ve tried the usual walkers in the area, but Yosef is the first one who actually understands pack dynamics and behavior. I have a high-energy dog that usually comes back from walks still wound up—since starting these full-day hikes, he’s a completely different dog. Calm, tired, and actually listens better. It’s a premium service, but you get what you pay for. If you’re in WeHo or BH and want a professional instead of just a 'walker,' this is it.
