My Border Collie, Ember, was very dog aggressive. Although rather expensive, after two weeks with Marvin and she was a different dog. Although she died a few months after training, I know she was very proud of her ability to control herself. Her two weeks away from Marcie and I was very difficult for us. I cried for the two weeks she was gone. Unfortunately she died several months later from an auto immune issue. In the end though, her positive behavior was worth it. I know she was proud of her new behavior. Marvin is a good man and a great teacher of both dogs and their owners. He is kind, gentle but firm in his committment. Ghana’s you Marvin!

This guy uses shock collars/vibration collars!!! I do know someone who "board and trained" their dog with this jerk. Poor dog developed fear aggression and lack of confidence diagnosed by a licensed animal behavior EXPERT (Jenn's Dogs in Forest Grove👍).
Positive reinforcement, PATIENCE and true understanding of behavior issues is the answer. BEWARE!!!

I truly cannot say enough good things about my experience with this team. Thanks to one-on-one trainings and puppy camp, my border collie is now 6.5 months old and just the most well behaved girl! She loves day boarding and spa days, and this team is truly in it with you from the beginning. I was lucky to find MPDT and will recommend them to anyone who will listen.

The team at Marvin Pierce Dog Training is fantastic. Their positive support and care of our dog Clancy in addition to instruction training and socialization with other dogs has been fantastic!

This place has a big heart and sound mind working with all dogs from all walks of life! They don't give up and walk you through everything you need to know to raise a well behaved dog!
