I have been a client of Mary’s for over 2 years! I took my very active non-listening puppy for training and she worked her magic with both my dog (Bodhi) and me. Bodhi who would not listen to anything was able to walk on a leash better and follow commands even stay which took a lot of work but he actually mastered by the last class. I contact her from time to time if I’m having issues and she graciously responds with expert advice. She is amazing to watch with Bodhi as she knows exactly what he’s thinking and how to curtail bad behaviors and encourage good ones. I highly recommend her for any of your training needs whether you just want a better behaved dog or you have a wild one like mine. 😊

This is the second puppy that I’ve trained with Mary Ds. Mary is patient both with the owners and with our puppies. She gives clear and precise guidance as well as tips on how to train when we aren’t in class. I’d highly recommend her.

I have had dogs all my life, and have participated in many trading classes. Mary Deroo is the best trainer I have met. She is professional, research based, and current ( with an extensive background in animal behavior of all species) on training methods. She is pragmatic and is very helpful with real life issues you and your dog will confront. I recommend her highly!

I have a large puppy and am going through some medical issues. Mary was extremely helpful teaching me and my puppy. She was very patient with both of us!

Mary was amazing. We learned so much about training our pug puppy in a way that was enjoyable for him and us. She is extremely knowledgeable and we look forward to more of her classes in the future.
