What a life transforming Dog Training Center!!! I call this my doggy’s dojo - he went in wild, anti social, barking and he finished like a refined Zen master. Matan and his team - OUTSTANDING!!! This was the best thing I have done for my doggy and our family. He learnt all the commands, has become so much more social with people around him and we can finally dream of taking that vacation. After year of losing hope of anyone ever being able to pet sit my puppy, he’s now happy and comfortable with a pet sitter. Amelia is the queen who managed to teach our little furry baby how to be well disciplined. What can I say about Amelia - superlatives evade me. She is so professional, super sweet, super kind, incredibly gifted, patient like an Angel and the best thing that could happen to my dog. I can’t thank her enough for everything that she did and continues to do. We are now in the group session after a successful stint of privates. And we will continue with the group sessions for a long time to come. This is the best thing you could do for yourself and your doggy. If you are on the fence, don’t be. This place is pure MAGIC. Update: Pepper is now a regular at day camp as well. What can I say - fabulous, outstanding, amazing, pawfect; out of this world. Pepper starts getting so excited the second we turn into the facility. He starts wagging his tail off and runs in smiling (Yes. Mine smiles a very wide toothy smile). This is the best thing that ever happened to us. Josie is the best and Pepper can’t wait to meet her every week. What a gem this place is. Matan and team - you are the best of the best of the best of the best!

I’ve had a great experience with Matan Dog Training. The entire staff treated both of my dogs with genuine care, patience, and professionalism from start to finish. It’s clear they truly understand dogs and take the time to work with each one based on their individual needs. What stood out to me most was the communication. I always felt informed and included in the process, and they were responsive whenever I had questions. That level of transparency made a big difference and gave me a lot of confidence in their training approach. Overall, I’m really happy with the results and the experience. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a team that’s knowledgeable, attentive, and truly cares about your dogs.

AMELIA IS THE BEST DOG TRAINER ⸻ We have a 3 y.o. German Shepherd mix who used to have probably one of the most severe dog reactivity. At the level where we see a dog outside and the walk is over. We had to go home immediately to calm her down. Our walks were just hell. The most stressful part of our days. ⸻ WE TRIED MULTIPLE TRAINERS AND LOST TRUST IN FINDING A GREAT ONE We worked with several dog trainers before this. At some point we honestly stopped believing we’d find a good one. Most of the “best” trainers we could find turned out somewhere between okay to pretty horrible and not even able to handle a single dog in the class. So when we decided to give it another shot, both my husband and I were quite skeptical. We ended up getting a 5 private + 4 group classes package and started working with Amelia. ⸻ AMELIA IS BOTH EXTREMELY SKILLED AND INCREDIBLY LOVING Amelia is truly the most amazing dog trainer I’ve ever seen. She is extremely experienced and skilled, especially with dogs that have issues like ours. At the same time, she is honestly the most loving dog trainer I’ve ever seen. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone show nearly as much affection to dogs as she does, and dogs absolutely love her back. ⸻ EVERY CLASS IS BUILT AROUND OUR ACTUAL PROBLEMS After working with other trainers, you immediately see the difference. Every private class starts with Amelia asking what we want to work on and what issues we’ve been having lately. And then she immediately jumps on it. Whether it’s a class at the facility or outside, she does anything to help us work through the issues. ⸻ THE LEVEL OF EFFORT SHE PUTS INTO EACH SESSION IS INSANE This is probably what stands out the most. One time we asked to do a class with more exposure to dogs. Amelia brought out SEVEN dogs that were laying, walking, sitting, moving around our girl. Another time we shared that our dog was reactive specifically to unfamiliar people with dogs. Amelia changed into a sweatshirt and a hat so our dog wouldn’t recognize her and brought three dogs to simulate a more real environment. That class alone helped us make a huge leap in progress. Pretty much every class has had at least one or two or three or even seven other dogs to properly work on our dog reactivity. If this isn’t the best care, I don’t know what is. ⸻ THE RESULTS FEEL UNREAL COMPARED TO WHERE WE STARTED <4 MONTHS AGO Going out has honestly become the most amazing thing for us. We now take our dog everywhere. Lunches outside, going to a park, all of it is actually enjoyable now. Seeing a dog, which used to be an immediate “pick up your things and run away” situation, is pretty much nothing now. A simple “stay” or “heel” and we’re fine. ⸻ WE KEEP GOING BECAUSE IT ACTUALLY WORKS We’ve done two packages of private classes now and go to group classes every weekend for roughly 3-4 months now. We are definitely planning to continue doing private classes. They’ve been incredibly helpful for our specific issues. ⸻ After everything we tried before, we’re just very, very grateful we found Amelia.

We are so thankful for the entire team at Matan Dog Training. They were extremely communicative during board and train for our pup, and even after going home have continued to respond to texts about puppy related questions. Tiffany, Michael, Heather and Matan go above and beyond in every way with big hearts and a high grade of professionalism. We also did private training in-home and in-center sessions with them all of which have been top notch in building a solid foundation for our puppy. We can easily see how much our pup loves and respects his trainers. We’ve learned so much. I’ve had a few dogs over the years and attended various training programs in CA and WA state. Across all of them I am recommending Matan Training to my friends and family as an exceptional stand out.
