My golden retriever puppy was a handful for me. He is an 80lb dog that refused to get in the car and would lay on garage floor and splay all 4 feet. I was unable to lift him. He went crazy when doorbell rang and would knock people over when they came in with his exuberant greetings. Walking him was a tug and pull affair. With Matt's board and training program I got a dog who is actually a joy to be around. Getting in car is now a piece of cake. I can't recommend more highly Matt for his patience and love I observed while working with my dog. I want people to look at my dog and say "wow, what a good dog". With Matt's help we have succeeded.
Matt is an amazing trainer who is very knowledgeable in his line of work and is blatantly passionate with the dogs he works with! I would recommend Matt and his services if you are looking for a great dog trainer. I will definitely be doing more training with him in the near future!
I did lessons for my dog with Matt a while back and was very impressed. He is very knowledgeable, was great with my dog, and helped out a ton. It was a pleasure working with him, I highly recommend working with him.

I used Matt for board & train for my baby boy Blue and the difference is crazy, he walks so well on a leash and is better able to learn new things. He’s also much better with other doggos which makes me more comfortable walking him everywhere too. He used to just take off when the front or back door was left open, I even chased him down the street a couple times, and he doesn’t do that anymore - he waits for my command to go anywhere now. He’s such a better dog and I’m so thankful! Matt is awesome!
