MattyG’s Dog Training

We were losing hope on training our 2 boxer puppies. Athena is so bullheaded and would only do what she wanted when she wanted. Her brother Ares is more laid back but was still difficult for us to train. Then we found Matt. Let me tell you, he worked a miracle on both our boxer puppies. You can see his love for dogs and the joy he gets as he trains them. Both Athena and Ares learned so much from their 2 week board and train and whenever they see Matt they get so excited. We look forward to continuing working with Matt as Athena and Ares grow. Thank you Matt for the exceptional job you did with our puppies. We are so glad we found you!

Our dog was quite a handful for us. We didn’t know how to handle him. Matt not only trained our dog and got him to where we needed him to be, but he helped us be more competent dog owners. Understanding the how and why, and giving us the tools and insight we need to carry forward. We strongly recommend using Matt, we couldn’t imagine a better experience. The only negative is that we think our dog loves Matt more than us now :-).

We are still attending MattyGs dog training and it has been wonderful. Our dog has reactive excitement to other dogs and walking was really hard. We've seen a huge improvement in a short time with the strategies Matt has provided. He really tailors his training to the individual family and goals. We wanted to do positive reinforcement only and Matt was fine with that. He has never tried to convince us to use aversive collars or made us feel like we couldn't make progress if we did positive reinforcement only. Such an amazing trainer.

Matt is a life saver! We recently put our dog through his 4 week board and train program and he was able to change our dog drastically! Our biggest issues were recall on and off leash, pulling on the leash, and resource guarding. We have a new baby who was close to crawling and we worried with these behaviors. Matt worked really hard with him and we are able to prevent the resource guarding and get him to drop objects he’s interested in. He does amazing on walks and can recall really well! We are completely amazed at his transformation. We highly recommend Matt for any of your dog training needs! His communication is timely and informative and his love of dogs shows in his work!
