Giselle and Tori are amazing. Our mini bernedoodle is so loving but has extreme separation anxiety. They were so patient with Zeke helping him through his big feeling and teaching him all his commands. The board and train was especially helpful allowing Zeke to focus on learning without disruptions. Giselle, Tori, and all the staff are forever part of Zeke’s family. We are so thankful for all your hard work, love and support.

If there was a rating higher than a 5 that's what I would give! Victoria, Giselle, and the team at Mavericks were absolutely wonderful to work with! They worked their magic on our adorable, yet stubborn Golden! I didn't think his behavior would ever be this good! They treated him with such love and affection, like he was their very own. What made us the happiest is how they worked with his personality, keeping all of the lovable Golden traits, just in a much better behaved furry package!

I could not say enough about these women and the program they specifically curated for Juliet. I was thwarted by an independent, defiant, and strong willed girl, who was accustomed to living life on her terms: satisfying any curiosity, exploring at her leisure, and answering to NO ONE. While sweet and adorable, she was also a problem. None of the options we had researched seemed like the right fit for her .. until my mom went in to Maverick’s. Gisell and Victoria were immediately welcoming of Juliet - and her quirks - and quelled any concerns we had about her being a candidate for their services. We trusted them and felt comfortable moving forward, with our own managed expectations of the process and outcome. I could not have anticipated what transpired. Gisell is quite literally the human version of Juliet, and their immediate bond was palpable and joyous to watch. She educated, encouraged, and supported me throughout the journey - always available to talk through hesitations or frustrations. She even travelled to ensure Juliet was set up for success in every environment: parks, suburbs, New York City! All I really wanted was for Juliet to answer to her name. She does that now. And so much more. I can take her anywhere - off leash - and know that we are completely in sync. If you had told me that within 2 months I would go from having a juvenile delinquent to the most elevated version of my dog, I would have never believed it. But Gisell and Victoria knew it was achievable, and they made it a reality. I am so grateful to Gisell for her genuine commitment to Juliet. The ultimate result of this process is a world of endless possibilities for me and my girl, and I could not be more excited. THANK YOU.

I have a Yorkshire terrier puppy, Giuseppe, who did a board and train with Gisell for a month at 5 months old and I am absolutely astounded by the progress I’ve seen in him. I want to start with the fact that Gisell and Tori both gave me so many tips when I first brought my dog home at 10 weeks. Since he would not be fully vaccinated until 4.5 months and therefore could not start board and train until then, they walked me through all the things I could do with him at home to better set him for success once he began the program. Gisell was SO reliable and supportive through the deepest and darkest moments of my puppy blues lol. Once giuseppe was ready to begin, Gisell and I had a couple phone calls about what my goals were for his training, what my lifestyle was so that he could best adapt to it, and what his personality was like. She was SO patient, and asked so many questions which really showed me she cared about his training as much as I did. My main goals were that Giuseppe be socialized and well-mannered with people and humans, that he feel comfortable traveling with me in a carrier, have good leash manners, be able to hold a place for an extended period of time, be able to entertain himself with toys so that I do not need to be playing fetch constantly and of course, potty training. Gisell sent me constant updates of how my puppy was progressing, to the point where I didn’t even have to check in (I am a lifelong neurotic helicopter dog mom so this was a difficult standard to meet but she exceeded it). Once the training was over, I had an in person training session with Gisell where she showed me all the things Giuseppe learned, how I can change to be the best owner possible and the kind of schedule that worked best with Giuseppe (which aligned perfectly with the schedule I had outlined with her in our initial phone call). Giuseppe now knows ALL the things we had planned on, which makes raising him so much easier and more enjoyable. He can now hold a place for hours, go on walks, self-regulate and potty. He is literally perfect and I owe it all to MK9. I could not have imagined that little 5 month old puppy could come all this way but he did!!!! I recommend any program done by either Gisell or Tori without hesitation. They’ve changed my life!!!
